ARCHITECT@WORK 2022 in Berlin exceeds all expectations

We are pleased to announce that visitor numbers have reached pre-pandemic levels with just under 3,300 in Berlin. The exhibitors are also more than satisfied. One thing is clear: ARCHITECT@WORK fans have remained absolutely loyal to the trade fair over the two difficult years, and new architecture and design enthusiasts have joined in.

The final countdown is on: ARCHITECT@WORK in Berlin will soon open its doors again for architects, interior designers and specifiers.

The event will be held almost simultaneously in October in two federal capitals, Berlin and Vienna, and their audiences are already waiting impatiently for these new editions. And rightly so, because the rush of exhibitors was sometimes so great that the exhibition floor space had to be increased.

Still some exhibitor places available in Berlin and Frankfurt!

After a very successful edition in Munich, many registrations for Berlin and Frankfurt have come in over the last few weeks. Compared to 2019, ARCHITECT@WORK Munich 2022 recorded a healthy increase of 8.5 percent with over 2,000 visitors. This can be interpreted as a good sign, because trade fairs often struggle with a decline in times like these. But the figures were not the only pleasing aspect of this trade event kick-off: The freedom and joy of personal encounters has returned - a long-awaited moment, for visitors and exhibitors alike.

ARCHITECT@WORK and its successful start in Munich

Finally, a trade fair as in the old days: the Munich edition of ARCHITECT@WORK was one of the first events in 2022 to return to the well-known positive trade fair atmosphere. So a new beginning has been made.

While fans of ARCHITECT@WORK in Vienna, Berlin and Frankfurt still have to wait until autumn, the Munich edition has already taken place: the German edition of the popular trade fair format was a complete success and was able to further increase visitor numbers. Compared to 2019, ARCHITECT@WORK Munich 2022 recorded a whopping 8.5 percent increase with over 2,000 visitors. This can be interpreted as a good sign, as trade fairs often struggle with a decline in times like these.

STATUS UPDATE - A@W comes to Berlin!

In reaction to the official and latest COVID-19 update for Berlin, we hereby confirm that ARCHITECT@WORK Berlin can and will go ahead as scheduled. Trade shows do not fall under the same set of laws and restrictions on capacity, which currently apply for private events.

Our team is continuously liaising with the responsible authorities (Health Department, Federal Police ...) as well as with Station Berlin, with one priority in mind: your safety!

It goes without saying that COVID-19 has all of a sudden taken hold of all our lives, whether that be from a professional or private point of view with the extreme, yet necessary (confinement) measures that have been taken throughout Europe and the rest of the world.

The good news is that these measures have proven to be successful – the curve has flattened or is flattening – and multiple, phased exit scenarios are under construction in the different countries that we are active in.

We are positive and confident that our unique concept will once more prove its value: every single ARCHITECT@WORK is hosted nationally/regionally, right at the beating heart of a strong community of architects and interior designers.

We are all in this together!

COVID-19 has taken grip of all of our lives, whether that be from a private or professional point of view and it goes without saying that your health is a priority to our organization.

We are monitoring the situation closely, but would like to emphasize that our Fall 2020 editions are set to go ahead as planned. Each of us is working hard from his or her home office to prepare these editions thoroughly, giving it all our best and looking forward to meeting you all again soon at ARCHITECT@WORK.

Applications for Wiesbaden and Stuttgart 2020 were already opened in October, but now we also have scheduled the exact date for Berlin! The Berlin edition will take place on 7 and 8 October 2020 in Station Berlin.

ARCHITECT@WORK Madrid, the carefully curated two-day trade show aimed at architects, interior designers and specifiers, will have its first edition on the 9^th and 10^th of May at IFEMA, hall 12. Over 160 leading national and international architectural suppliers will showcase their latest innovations in surface solutions, lighting technology as well as interior and exterior fixtures and fittings. All exhibitors go through a rigorous selection process, with an external judging panel overseeing the product selection, to ensure that this is Spain’s most highly respected trade shows of its kind.

A@W launches a new German edition in Wiesbaden, 2018

The resounding successes of the previous events and our exhibitors’ keen interest in repeating the exercise in other parts of Germany have prompted us to organize another edition of ARCHITECT@WORK in the Spring of 2018, this time in Wiesbaden. We look very much forward to introducing this unique event in another dynamic region of Germany! The premiere will take place on 29-30 May 2018 in the brand-new RheinMain CongressCenter. Exhibitor applications are open as of Thursday 14 December.

We are particularly pleased with the great interest shown by the exhibitors in the German editions of ARCHITECT@WORK 2017. After applications were declared open in mid-December, some of the product categories were booked out in a matter of days with people required to settle for a place on the waiting list. All stands in Munich have since been assigned, in Düsseldorf we still have a few places left in the “Outdoor assembly/construction” category. Which explains why we are already making every effort to find a bigger venue to host the next Munich edition of ARCHITECT@WORK (2019). Applications for the Berlin and Stuttgart events will be declared open come early October. Be sure to save the date!

Dezember zu Ende gegangenen Edition in Düsseldorf eindrucksvoll fortgeschrieben. Mit über 4.000 Fachbesuchern (+16% im Vergleich zu 2013) hat sich Relevanz und Wertschätzung dieses Formates bei Ausstellern wie Besuchern noch einmal steigern können.
